Eligibility Criteria for North Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023:
Educational Qualification:
For eligibility for North Eastern Railway Candidates should possess High School/ 10th Class with 50% marks & ITI. candidates who have any higher degree like Diploma or Graduation in any stream can also apply for this post.
Age Limit & Relaxation:
For this post candidates, ages should be between 165 years to 24 years as on 041/041/2023. The maximum age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC & ST, 3 years for OBCNC, 10 years for PwBD (UR),13 years for PwBD (OBCNC), and 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST) candidates If your age is less than or above then you cannot apply.
Selection Process:
: Selection of the eligible candidates for imparting training under the Apprentice Act,
1961 will be based on the merit list which would be prepared to take the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both. Candidate may opt for more than one unit/place. In case, his/her merit position does not permit to allot the first choice, he/she will be allotted a subsequent choice.

SC/ ST/ EWS/ Divyang (PwD)/ Women candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Pay Scale:
