Eligibility Criteria for Assam Rifles Recruitment 2023:
Educational Qualification:
Interested candidates must have completed 10th, 12th, Diploma & Degree from a recognized Board/ University. Candidates who have any higher degree like graduation or post-graduation in any subject from government recognized university can also apply for this post.
Age Limit & Relaxation:
For this post-Minimum Age Limit is 18 Years and the Maximum Age Limit is 28 Years. Candidates Should have not been born earlier than 01 Aug 1995 and later than 01 Aug 2005. The maximum age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC & ST, 3 years for OBCNC, 10 years for PwBD (UR),13 years for PwBD (OBCNC), and 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST) candidates If your age is less than or above then you cannot apply.
Physical Standards:
For All Categories/ All Over India
Height – Male: 170 cms, Female: 157 cms
Chest for Male Only: Normal 80 cms, Minimum Expansion: 5 cms
Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per the existing medical standards as applicable to males/ females.
Eye Sight: Visual Acuity unaided (Near Vision) – Better Eye – N6, Worse Eye – N9, Uncorrected visual Acuity (Distant Vision) – Better Eye – 6/6, Worse Eye – 6/9
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on the
1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) &
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/
3. Skill Test/ Trade Test
4. Written Exam and medical examination.
